If your goods are not only to be sealed, but also to be secured, high-security seals are used. These differ from regular seals because they can not be removed by hand or with a light tool – high-quality bolt cutters or steel cable cutters are necessary. High-security seals are internationally required for trans-shipment.
If containers are sent on ships, trains or trucks, it would be far too complicated to provide them with a lock and to transmit the key or combination of numbers at the destination and to assign them to the respective container. A High Security Seal has its own distinctive serial number, which makes it possible to quickly and easily check whether the original seal is still on the object at the destination. A High Security Seal can be attached to the handle or to the Secura Cam Keeper. In addition, the locking rods can be sealed with a steel cable. If a high-security seal is removed, it is destroyed and can not be reattached without traces visible.

High Security Seals are regulated by international law for ocean transport. If containers are carried on ships, trains or trucks, it would be much too time-consuming to fit them with a lock and to forward the key or details of the combination lock to the place of destination and allocate them to the respective container. If a High Security Seal is removed, it is destroyed and cannot be re-attached without leaving visible marks.
