Previously, only lead seals were available on the market for sealing containers and goods. Today, plastic constructions have also been joined, which have emerged as a production material in the course of the ongoing advancement of plastics. As an alternative to lead, plastic seals can be found in many respects. Especially the greater environmental friendliness is an important argument, which speaks for the plastic seals. Plastic can be disposed of much better and more environmentally friendly.
Modern and high-quality plastic seals are nothing to be considered as a safe sealing option. They can also be used flexibly and are also a much more cost-effective solution in production. As well as lead seals, plastic seals can also be stamped in the sealing pliers with the help of a chisel insert and thus receive an individual marking.
Different colors, sizes and design variants make plastic seals today the product of choice in many areas when it comes to a reliable seal. Apart from plastic seals, which are compressed by means of sealing pliers and are combined with a sealing wire or plastic thread, there are now also plastic seals which can be used without any tools during installation and removal. So-called pull-through seals, for example, belong to this and ensure easy and uncomplicated handling.
As a cost-effective, flexible and environmentally friendly seal, plastic seals are increasingly preferred to lead seals. Whether for the sealing of fire extinguishers or electricity meters, packaging, containers or suitcases – plastic seals are everywhere reliable, robust and safe and can be adapted to individual requirements in terms of appearance and design.
