Since 20.06.2019, new regulations have applied to combined heat and power plants in accordance with the 44th Ordinance for the Implementation of the Federal Immission Control Act BlmSchV. This enforces the EU Directive 2015/2193 of the European Parliament. In order to be able to carry out error-free annual measurements in accordance with the ordinance, it is advisable to seal plants that have already been tested with a steel cable seal. Compared to conventional lead seals, these have the advantage of allowing individual identification such as a serial number or QR code. The temperature-resistant steel cable seal FT Seal npc 250.1.5 not only boasts excellent, long-lasting readability, but also features the Removable Security Sticker RSS® developed by Ferrotec, which makes it even easier to manage seals that have already been used.
Steel cable seals from Ferrotec can be fastened without tools and thus represent a simple and uncomplicated type of sealing. Depending on the diameter of the steel cable, steel cable seals such as the FT Seal npc 250.1.5 can be opened with a steel cable cutter or steel cable pliers.
